In today’s era education is not only confined to reading and writing. It is now linked to the holistic development of the children.
Now the challenge and the demands in the market are not only limited to having knowledge, but it is also more about how impeccably one can present that knowledge. This is the reason why Gangotri International school, leaves no stone unturned to help students to experiment with their knowledge and provide them different opportunities to showcase their skills. These include exhibitions, seminars, projects, presentations, competitions etc.
Creativity has now slaved knowledge and this fact is already realized by GIS. Science has always proved to be a blessing to mankind and this, it is very important to enhance the interest of students in science and technology. One best way to do this is by organizing science exhibitions in school.

A science exhibition is a wonderful tool that engages students in learning new facts. It develops in them the curiosity to learn. It provides a platform for the students to use their scientific knowledge and bring the best invention from their brains. It also allows students to work together in groups and learn from each other. They share their ideas and collectively galvanize those ideas to bring something innovative into implementation. This further allows the students to develop their social and moral skills and make them a better team player. GIS believes that science exhibitions help to explore the creative talent of the students and push them to think outside the box. Students enjoy learning through such exhibitions as they put effort and make models with their own hands. When they give presentations in exhibitions, they become more familiar with public speaking and this removes their stage fright and instills self-confidence in them. It also encourages them to ask more questions to address their curiosities.

14th November 2022, Gangotri International School, Gondal, organised a science exhibition in the school auditorium. A number of students from various classes participated in the exhibition. The science exhibition was held in honour of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday. Different models were designed by the students. The parents, too, looked at the various models put up by the students. Everyone who participated in the exhibition will be given certificates. The exhibition ended with the Principal delivering a speech extending her gratitude and congratulating all the students who participated in the exhibition.
