House System
In order to promote the 360° development of students, GIS divides them into four houses known as Parampara, Anushasan, Pratishtha and Sanskar. Every house is under a teacher’s observation and led by a Captain and a Vice Captain. Various kinds of games, sports and other co-curricular activities are held throughout the year to build an atmosphere of excellent sportsmanship and competitive spirit.
Parampara House
Parampara which is commonly known as traditions emphasizes on reinforcing strong values such as freedom, faith, and integrity. It is an essential way of looking over the present and future of good education, personal responsibility, strong ethics and being selfless.
Anushasan House
The Anushasan house believes in discipline and a practice of self- improvement. At GIS, we set a bunch of rules and regulations for our students to grow up not just socially, scientifically but also morally.
Pratishtha House
Creating an environment where the students treat people with dignity, courtesy and respect is the most important factor. These are important on personal, social, political, and moral levels.
Sanskar House
At GIS, Sanskar means preaching good values and righteous actions among the students at an early age to enable them to become better citizens of the country.
