I extend my warm regards to each and everyone who are part of the Gangotri International School, which is considered as a sacred place where we nurture kids and help them dream big. As an institution our responsibility is not only to go beyond the horizons for providing knowledge, but also to mold the child’s personality to be a better human. To continue this legacy of being a prime educational Centre in Gondal city which is opulent for “value education system” by Bhagwat Singh our focus is to stay true to our ethics and values. Inculcating these values is one of the major objectives GIS strive.
‘School life’ has an important role in shaping a child’s personality from little young humans to empowering individuals. At GIS we constantly focus on bringing out the best in them, not just intellectually but also spiritually and physically. To become the responsible future of our country GIS believes in the holistic development of a child as it helps to imbibe moral values, life skills and build a better tomorrow.
When people ask me, “How do you measure success in your students?” I say “If they walk out of the school happier, more empowered and more compassionate than when they came in, we are achieving our goals.”
In this world full of challenges lesser known to us, as an educator it becomes imperative that we drive our students not only towards academic excellence but also be devoted to prepare the students for life, groom them to face the challenges of tomorrow, and encourage them to be socially relevant with the aim to ensure that the children grow to their full potential, while constantly being groomed to pass out as men and women competent to bear responsibility in all walks of life. I believe that when we give our students freedom of choice and we observe carefully without intervention, we see their true passion, their niche, their forte.
We need to keep taking little steps every day as we march towards our biggest goals of reaching excellence. As the days slip into weeks and weeks into months, our constant efforts lead us to a place called ‘EXTRAORDINARY’ which is our destination.
At GIS, the child and their needs is the whole and sole focus, therefore the classrooms are student centric, the mentors educate the kids through various innovative learning techniques, exposing them to the various possibilities to implement their knowledge in real life situations. We want our kids to question things, to be creative, to think out-of-the-box, to make mistakes, to dream big and to be unique. We don't want our kids to be good students but rather we want them to be better learners and exemplary citizens.
