Have you ever thought of learning something new? So why not a foreign language. Many people are thinking about the same but most of them either lack motivation or time. Learning a new language may have various reasons: 

1) moving to a different country 

2) just to pass exams

3) for professional reason 

4) or just because our parents are forcing us to pursue 

But why don’t we consider discovering foreign languages for our personal growth?  

Learning foreign languages is not only a process but also opens door to different cultures. It helps you to build confidence and improve your skills. Listening to new terminologies, studying new words as well as speaking the language stimulates your brain muscles and keeps you healthy and fit. Each language has a different personality and its own distinctive way of expressing ideas. 

They can be highly valuable for your professional career as well. In a globalized working atmosphere, applicants with a diversity of languages are in great demand. The companies are internationally orientated and expect their employees to communicate with their clients in their native language.

 Approximately 1.5 billion people around the world speak English, whether as their mother tongue or as a foreign language, and this number is still growing. But why limit yourself? What about the other 5.5 billion people who don’t speak English at all? Even if you don’t plan on ever setting foot outside your own town, what if the world comes to you? With the increasing levels of international trade, business, tourism, and random cross-cultural experiences, there are chances that you will eventually find yourself face-to-face with someone who does not speak English, at least not up to a level you understand. During such a time knowing a foreign language would be beneficial. Often the discussion is around, which foreign languages we should learn? 

Choosing the right foreign language to learn is a very subjective thing and often very difficult to answer, but with the growing economy and number of speakers around the world: Mandarin Chinese, French, German, Spanish, and Japanese tops the list of most important languages to learn in 2020. 

   Now a day’s foreign students from Germany and France are coming to India and learning ancient languages of India which are entirely new to them. They are keen on learning Sanskrit, Ardhamagdhi, Palli, and many more ancient Indian languages.  

One of the most common barriers people face while conversing in a new language is the fear of making mistakes. Any attempt from you to communicate in a foreign language is objective proof that you are a gifted genius. The only thing which matters is the efforts you take. The more you speak, the closer you will get to being perfect at it. During such a time one thing that we need to remember “Consistency is the key to success” and we need to keep going.
